Service areas

We currently provide our full range of services to Vancouver, Richmond, New Westminster, Burnaby, Delta, Surrey,  White Rock, Crescent Beach,  and Langley. In these cities we will generally custom build your shed for you right in your backyard before your eyes.

Outside of our immediate service area (Trailer delivery)

For cities and areas outside of our immediate service area,  we can build your shed in our yard and then transport it via our flatdeck trailer to your home.  The flatdeck is a low riding trailer that allows our sheds and structures to pass beneath bridges, tunnels and ferries. There are some limitations that apply other than transportation fees.

  1.  The shed cannot be more than 8'6 wide (10'6 roof width) due to road restrictions.   We can build wider sheds,  but the permit requirements from the ministry of transportation become cost prohibitive.   It cannot be longer than 18' feet as our trailer is 18' feet long.
  2. You must have a driveway or alley within 30 feet of the shed location.  We can accommodate more than 30 feet, but once again, the cost of the larger crane can be cost prohibitive.
  3. You must have a prepared gravel or concrete pad for the shed to sit on.
  4. Overhead wires can be an issue depending on location and height above ground.
  5. Distances over 3 hours away or with more than one ferry tend to be cost prohibitive.

Gulf islands

We have many requests for studios and sheds on the Gulf Islands.  There are some limitations that apply other than transportation and ferry fees.  We love the cost of the ferries just as much as you do.  Cough cough.

  3. You must arrange for a crane to lift your new shed or studio off our trailer. Typically this costs between $300 and $400. It is too expensive for us to hire/contract one from the Lower mainland as they charge by the hour.   Surprisingly, we have found that most islands have a couple of hiab crane trucks or cranes that are normally used to remove cargo from barges.
